It’s Not Your Fault No One Taught You How To Do It

It’s Not Your Fault No One Taught You How To Do It

‍No one teaches us how to stop.

They teach us to go, do, and push ...

But not how to pause.

That’s a shame because the pause is where wisdom lives.

A purposeful pause doesn’t “cost” you time. It earns you energy, peace, and calm.

Here’s how to take one:

Close your eyes and take 3 long, slow breaths.

Want extra credit?

(Bc I know you're an overachiever!)

Put both feet on the floor, your hand on your heart, and now take those three long . . .

Slow…

Inhales . . .

And exhales.

You’ve just reset your nervous system.

I bet you already feel different.

Easy, right?

This is the heart of mindfulness:

Returning again and again to the moment and yourself with kindness.

Everyone’s tired. You’re not alone and don’t need to “fix” yourself.

You don’t need an hour, a cushion, or a mountain retreat.

You just need a moment to be with yourself - gently, lovingly, as you are.

You just need a breath.

I’d love to help you take one.

Just presence.
