Reset in Costa Rica
Your Life Is Whispering for a Pause.
You’ve Held Everything Together. Now Let Something Hold You.
Retreats are necessary sanctuaries. Reminders of who you are beneath the noise and demands. They refill your cup so you return to a place of true fullness. I believe that when you pause, you create space to hear your own wisdom again. My greatest joy is helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that feels free, light, and alive.
This Costa Rican retreat is your invitation to unwind, breathe, and listen inward. To discover what’s next - not by striving, but by softening and allowing. Imagine the warmth of Costa Rica as the backdrop to your own beautiful return.
Power in the pause
I’ve been the burnt-out, overworked, single mom. I’m Lauren Abrams, mindfulness and self-compassion mentor, attorney, and host of 52 Weeks of Hope. My journey to mindfulness began when burnout left me feeling empty. Meditation and mindful pauses became my way back home to myself. I took quarterly breaks to refill my cup when my kids were little, and I still take retreats to this day, keeping me grounded and better able to serve others.
Retreats are my sanctuary. Allow Costa Rica to be yours.
February 20-25, 2026
In Costa Rica’s natural beauty, you’ll have space to slow down, rest deeply, and listen within. Through guided mindfulness and self-compassion, you’ll learn to stay grounded no matter what life brings. Each day offers:
Time for reflection and renewal
Mindfulness and compassion practices
Space to rest and reconnect
Nourishing meals and ocean air
Connection with like-hearted souls
You’ll leave with tools to bring this presence and ease into your daily life. Because you’ve been taking care of everyone and everything else for too long. You deserve a true pause to return to yourself and the joy beneath it all.
“The Pause - where your truth rises to meet you as you return to your own rhythm. How your heart finds its way home.”
What You’ll Experience
This retreat is unlike others. It is designed around the power of the pause. With mindfulness practices, connection, and plenty of space to rest. Mornings begin in quiet presence, guided meditation, and gentle movement to awaken the body.
Throughout the day, you’ll explore practices that bring mindfulness into everyday life, learning how to pause, communicate with compassion, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. There’s time for reflection, laughter, nourishing food, and simply being. No performance, no pressure, just presence.
By the end of the week, you’ll feel grounded, clear, and deeply restored. You’ll feel ready to return home carrying the calm, grounded clarity within you.
